John Hickenlooper signed bills to authorize continuous appropriations from the state’s General Fund to pay benefits to injured state workers and allow workers’ compensation insurance carriers to use policy forms without obtaining approval from the insurance commissioner.Hickenlooper on March 27 signed Senate Bill 120, a measure by the Joint Budget Committee intended to streamline the process for funding the account used to pay state workers’ comp claims.
