Trench Collapse Brings $41K in Penalties Against Roto-Rooter Franchise

A Pennsylvania Roto-Rooter franchise faces $41,200 in penalties from the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration after an employee was injured when a 10-foot-deep trench collapsed on him. OSHA issued citations for one willful, six serious and one other-than-serious violations by Williamsburg Plumbing and Heating Inc. in Harrisburg on April 1.
