The Federal Insurance Office has convened a series of meetings with stakeholder groups to find out what kind of terrorism insurance information is available and from what sources as it strives to comply with a mandate to issue a report to Congress, the National Council on Compensation Insurance said in a legislative report posted on its website last week.
The Terrorism Risk Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2015 requires the Treasury to begin collecting information about terrorism insurance in January. It must issue a report to Congress by June 30, 2016.
