Entrepreneur Iskowe Dies at 61

Health care entrepreneur David Iskowe died on June 4 in Nashville following a brief illness, according to a local news report. He was 61.Iskowe founded FOCUS Healthcare, a workers’ compensation PPO, in 1986. FOCUS eventually earned the No. 41 spot on the Inc. 500 list of fast-growing private companies. It is now part of Coventry’s workers’ compensation services. In March 2000, Iskowe founded EnableCorp, Inc. in Cool Springs to handle workers’ compensation collections for hospitals.
