The Louisiana Workforce Commission has appointed attorney Bob Roux as its executive counsel.
The commission said in a press release that Roux has been the agency's lead attorney in workforce development issues for more than 25 years. He was instrumental in the state's enactment of federal job-training programs and has participated in crafting administrative regulations and workforce-related legislation, the commission said.
