The city of Utica, New York, is looking for ways to reduce its workers' compensation costs after a 61% increase in the past four years.
The city's estimated costs for workers' compensation in the 2014-15 fiscal year are $1.17 million, compared with about $725,000 during the 2011-12 fiscal year, according to a Wednesday article in the Utica Observer-Dispatch.
