Federal Task Force Forming on Pain Management

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is seeking nominations for members to serve on a task force aimed at reviewing best practices for pain management. Establishment of the task force is authorized by the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act of 2016, or CARA. The task force will include representatives of federal agencies as well as others who represent a range of disciplines and views, according to a notice published in the Federal Register on Monday.
