A bill to forbid injured workers from appealing workers' compensation decisions directly to the state Supreme Court may be discussed in the Tennessee Senate's labor committee this week.
Since Senate Bill 261 was introduced in late January, the Senate Commerce and Labor Committee has placed it on the calendar six times. So far, discussion has been delayed five times.
