Department Revises Rules on ASC Facility Fees, Implants

After receiving comments from stakeholders, the Kentucky Department of Workers' Claims has amended its hospital and ambulatory surgical center fee schedule. The amendments make a number of changes to reimbursement rules and definitions, such as defining "hospital" to include out-of-state facilities and rehabilitation agencies, and revises the method for determining fees for surgical implants.
