WCIRB Classification & Rating Committee Meets Nov. 14

The Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California’s Classification & Rating Committee will review physical audit and dual-wage thresholds during a Nov. 14 meeting. All policies generating a final premium above $10,500 are subject to a physical audit under the threshold adopted for policies incepting on or after Jan. 1, 2020. The agenda for the committee’s meeting says WCIRB staff have reviewed the audit threshold, and while there are indications that it could be reduced slightly, the recommendation is to keep the threshold as is.
