MedData Buys Cardon Outreach for $400M

MedData, a provider of billing, coding and collections services to the health care industry, has acquired Cardon Outreach for $400 million, the company announced on Monday. Cardon, founded in 1996 and based in The Woodlands, Texas, provides claims processing services to more than 800 hospitals and other health care facilities in 46 states. The company offers eligibility assistance, accounts receivable recovery, third party liability, workers’ compensation, Social Security disability, denial management and appeals, and patient financing programs.
