Non-residents injured while working in Wyoming could be covered by the workers’ compensation laws of their home state under a bill introduced in advance of the 2018 legislative session.
House Bill 10, sponsored by the joint Labor, Health and Social Services Interim Committee, would add extraterritorial coverage provisions to Wyoming’s workers’ compensation law.
Extraterritorial agreements allow employers to send workers to other states for limited periods without having to purchase a separate policy for the new state.
