Alliant Insurance Services, a specialty insurance brokerage firm, has acquired aviation insurance agency John F. Throne & Co. in Seattle.
“We are fortunate to have one of the most influential firms in the aviation industry join us in a lead role,” said Tom Corbett, chairman and chief executive officer of Alliant.
John F. Throne & Co. provides insurance and risk management services to commercial aviation companies throughout the United States, Alliant said in a press release. The company was founded 65 years ago, during the infancy of the aviation industry, the firm said.
