Labor Department Announces SAWW, Max Benefit

The Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations announced that the state average weekly wage used to determine workers’ compensation benefits for the fiscal year that started July 1 is $1,104.92. The average weekly wage results in a maximum temporary total disability, permanent total disability and death benefit of $1,160.17, the department said. The maximum benefit for permanent partial disability is $607.71. The actual weekly wage needed to obtain the maximum TTD, PTD or death benefit is $1,740.25.
