For those struggling to keep track of medical cost containment initiatives in each of the 50 states, a new report from the Workers Compensation Research Institute might help.
The report, “Workers’ Compensation Medical Cost Containment: A National Inventory,” includes tables of statutory provisions, administrative rules, and administrative procedures used by all 50 states and the District of Columbia. It also includes information on two federal programs, the Federal Employees' Compensation Act and the Longshore & Harbor Workers' Compensation Act.
