Governor Appoints 2 to Podiatric Medicine Board

Gov. Rick Snyder on Tuesday announced the appointments of Brian Brunner of Mount Pleasant and Franklin (Frank) Peterson of Battle Creek to the Michigan Board of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.The nine-member board assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs in overseeing the practice of more than 840 Michigan podiatrists.Brunner is assistant director of the Central Michigan University athletic department's Chippewa Athletic Fund.Brunner previously worked as a sports reporter and blogger for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, as a staff writer for the Saginaw News and a...
