Restaurant Risk Pool Pays 25% Dividend

United Restaurants of New York Workers' Compensation Safety Group No. 556, a risk and premium pool, has paid a 25% dividend to 1,017 members who held policies between Sept. 30, 2013, and Sept. 30, 2014. Adding the dividend to discounts on assessments paid to the group's insurance underwriter, New York State Insurance Fund, the average member with $10,000 per year in premium actually paid only $4,875, according to a Friday statement.
