A major food manufacturer has accepted $100,000 in fines and agreed to a safety improvement plan after federal inspectors found repeated safety violations at its Atlanta facility.
Schwan’s Global Supply Inc. received citations for four repeated, three serious and three other-than-serious health and safety violations from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
But in what OSHA is calling an unusual action, Schwan’s signed a pre-citation settlement agreement with the agency on Jan. 15.
