A man who claimed that a barroom brawl injury to his right hand happened at work pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor theft charge and was ordered to reimburse the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries for the cost of his medical care.
Chuck W. Riccio, 40, filed a claim with L&I in October 2018 saying that he injured his right hand at his new job with a bathtub and shower manufacturer. L&I, however, said someone reported that Riccio injured his hand in a bar fight in Yelm in August 2018.
