Vaughan Stepping Down as NAIC CEO at End of Month

Therese M. Vaughan plans to leave her position as chief executive officer of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners on Nov. 30, NAIC said in a press release.Vaughan announced plans in August to transition out of the job in early 2013, but now plans to "accelerate her departure," the organization said."I have been privileged to support the regulators and staff of the NAIC for nearly four years, and it is with mixed feelings that I am leaving," Vaughan said in a statement.
