Three years after being hurt on the job, 14% of injured workers in Pennsylvania hadn’t returned to work, according to a new report from the Workers Compensation Research Institute.
If workers returned to work but couldn’t maintain employment for more than a month due to their injury, that figure rose to 19%, the highest among 15 states included in WCRI’s study. The findings are part of a continuing series of reports from WCRI that are based on interviews with injured workers.
