Vendor's Snafu Triggers Back Payments to Surgeons

The failure of a Chicago-based medical cost-containment firm to adjust a part of Rhode Island's workers' compensation medical fee schedule to account for a 2008 cost-of-living adjustment has prompted regulators to order back payments to the state's surgeons.Matthew P.
