Emergency Rule Allows Lump Sum Settlement When Doesn't Exceed 30%

The Nevada Division of Industrial Relations on Monday announced the adoption of an emergency rule that will allow injured workers with a permanent partial disability of up to 30% to accept a lump sum settlement. The emergency rules that will be in effect for 120 days will apply to anyone injured on or after July 1, 2017.
