Solano County reported an 85% reduction in incurred costs for musculoskeletal disorders and repetitive motion injuries after launching a program intended to improve worker ergonomics.
A staff report prepared for a Solano County Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday said the risk management team implemented “Ergo Express,” which involved a check box form that is used to assess office furniture and educate staff about the best posture to mitigate the effects of a repetitive task.
