A measure that would create a presumption that post-traumatic stress disorder is an occupational disease for some safety workers will be back before Minnesota lawmakers in 2017, according to the ABC affiliate in St. Paul.
Lawmakers last year never scheduled a hearing on the PTSD presumption bill introduced by state Rep. Dan Schoen. The Democrat from St. Paul Park who was elected to the Senate in November convened a meeting at the Senate Office Building earlier this month to announce his plans to introduce the measure again next year.
