A circuit court judge has issued a temporary restraining order, halting the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission's coronavirus emergency presumption rule, a rule that some had considered to be the most sweeping in the nation. The order, by Sagamon County Circuit Court Judge John Madonia, came one day after the Illinois Manufacturers' Association and the Illinois Retail Merchants filed a lawsuit asking for the restraining order.
