DWC Posts Revised Adjustment to Physician Fee Schedule

The California Division of Workers’ Compensation posted an order adjusting the Official Medical Fee Schedule to conform to changes in the Medicare payment system. On June 16, the DWC issued an order adjusting the OMFS Physician and Non-Physician Practitioner Fee Schedule to adopt relevant Medicare physician fee schedule changes for the third quarter of 2021. Subsequently, on June 30, the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services issued a revised file for the third quarter.
