While Texas comp regulators have done a good job of keeping up with the rapidly changing requirements of the coronavirus lockdown, some third-party administrators and insurers are asking them to go further and relax more deadlines and expectations.
In a letter sent this week, lobbyist and consultant Steve Nichols urged the Division of Workers' Compensation to extend statutory and regulatory deadlines for a range of issues, from reporting of claims to paying or denying medical bills.
