Lump-sum payment information must be recorded through the electronic data interchange (EDI) within 30 days after the Indiana Workers' Compensation Board approves a settlement, the board announced.
The information can be conveyed through what the board calls a “PY” filing, followed by an “FN” filing, according to the board's website. More information is available on the updated settlement procedures on the site.
