Split Court Reverses Award for Foundry Worker's Psyche Injury from Alleged Harassment

A divided Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court on Thursday overturned an award of temporary total disability benefits to a foundry worker for her alleged psychological injury based on multiple alleged racist and sexist comments that left her in tears. The case was Frog, Switch & Manufacturing Co. v. WCAB (Johnson), No. 149 C.D. 2014.
