The Texas Department of Insurance will host a meeting today of the Utilization Review Advisory Committee, which was recently revived by the department to advise the insurance commissioner on developing rules to implement legislation passed by the 2009 Legislature and to update rules regulating utilization review agents.The meeting is to begin at 1 p.m. in room 102 of tower 3 at 333 Guadalupe in Austin.The previous committee was disbanded effective Dec. 31, 1998.
