Exclusivity Doesn't Bar Worker's Suit for Being Run Over by Trailer

A Texas appellate court ruled that exclusivity did not bar a worker’s civil suit against his employer for his injuries from being run over by an equipment trailer. Edward Santos worked for B&T Dependable Services LLC, a residential and commercial lawn service.  After finishing work on Jan. 3, 2018, Santos jumped into the bed of a B&T truck driven by company co-owner Bernell Gardener.
