Victim of Chimp Attack Planning $150 Million State Lawsuit

The victim of a Stamford, Conn., chimpanzee attack that left an employee of the chimp's owner severely injured and badly disfigured is taking steps to sue the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for failing to remove the animal from the owner's home, according to a news report.The Stamford Advocate reported Thursday that Charles Willinger, an attorney for the victim of the attack, Charla Nash, is preparing a $150 million lawsuit alleging the environmental agency knew the chimp was dangerous and failed to remove him from the home of Sandra Herold."They did that, kno...
