Insurance Federation Names new Executive Director

The Massachusetts Insurance Federation has named a new executive director to represent its interests. James Harrington, who has 25 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, will take on the role, according to a Friday press release. According to the federation's website, Harrington served for 16 years as the American Insurance Association's vice president for the northeast and five years as regional legislative director of the National Association of Independent Insurers.
