Testimony Properly Excluded in Civil Suit Over Trucker's Death

The Missouri Court of Appeals ruled that the testimony of a witness was properly excluded from the trial for a wrongful death claim. Case: Tate v. Dierks, No. WD82725, 09/22/2020, published. Facts: Alan Tate worked for Whimsy Inc., a Chicago trucking company with a terminal in Kansas City, Missouri.  On March 24, 2016, Tate lost control of his truck in Lee's Summit, Missouri, and crashed into a concrete bridge pylon.
