Rules Proposed to Increase Inpatient Fee Schedule 2.7%

The Montana Department of Labor and Industry proposed rules that would increase payments for services performed in inpatient and outpatient facilities, clarify that professional service providers must bill according to the fee schedule and outline the process for selecting a treating physician.The proposed rules will increase the current base rate in the Medical Fee Schedule for inpatient facilities by 2.7% and increase the rate for outpatient services by 2%.
