Vinyl Window Maker Fined $57,400 for OSHA Violations

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited a New Jersey-based vinyl window manufacturer for 18 safety and health violations at its factory in Newark, N.J.OSHA said in a news release that citations issued to Royal Aluminum Corp. include three repeat violations involving hazards first noted in 2010.Inspector said the company failed to implement a hearing conservation program, failed to implement a written hazards program for workers using hazardous chemicals and failed to train workers on chemical hazards.
