BWC Cancels Safety Conference Over Coronavirus Concerns

The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation announced that it canceled its annual safety conference due to concerns surrounding COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus disease. The 2020 Ohio Safety Congress & Expo was scheduled to start Wednesday and run through Friday. While the conference itself is being canceled, the BWC said the online component of the event will proceed as scheduled to provide continuing education credits for professionals in the health care, human resources, safety and legal communities.
