The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited a petroleum refiner, along with an industrial contractor, after a worker died at a refining facility in Tuscaloosa.
OSHA issued citations on Sept. 24 to contractor Turner Specialty Services LLC, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Hunt Refining Co., of Tuscaloosa. The two companies collectively face $106,080 in penalties. They had 15 business days to contest the citations.
