High Court Denies Review of Refinery Worker's Hearing-Loss Claim

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court will not be reviewing a Commonwealth Court decision finding that a former refinery worker who undisputedly suffered from significant hearing loss was not entitled to benefits for his condition.The case was McCool v. WCAB (Sunoco Inc.), No. 895 MAL 2013.Joseph P. McCool Sr. had worked as an operator apprentice and refinery operator for Sunoco from 2003 until 2008.
