The West Virginia Insurance Commissioner's Office has published its workers' compensation benefits calendar for 2020, showing when direct-deposit funds will be available.
For the most part, black lung benefits, paid through the Coal Workers' Pneumoconiosis Fund, will be available around the middle of the month. Claims that fall under the CWPF include federal black lung claims and survivor claims with dates of last exposure before Jan. 1, 2006, the office's website shows.
Other workers' compensation benefits will be available near the end of each month, the calendar shows....
