Industrial Commission Fines Political Group for Failure to Cover, but later Rescinds Action

The Boise Weekly newspaper reported that the Idaho Industrial Commission had filed suit against the American Legislative Exchange Council, a policy group that promotes free-market principles, for failure to provide workers’ compensation for its employees last December, but dismissed the complaint a month later after the group's insurer retroactively included Idaho workers within the company's coverage.
