The state Supreme Court Wednesday denied a request by the State Compensation Insurance Fund that it review an appellate court decision forcing State Fund to pay a $1.13-million award to the Palm Medical Group in Fresno.In Palm Medical Group v. State Compensation Insurance Fund, S163235, Palm Medical successfully argued to a jury it was unfairly barred from participating in a State Fund preferred provider network.
