The Kentucky Court of Appeals upheld a finding of compensability for a worker who died two days after surgery for a job-related injury. Case: Bluelinx v. Estate of Williams, No. 2022-CA-1027-WC, 05/26/2023, unpublished. Facts: David Williams worked for Bluelinx. He suffered a work-related injury to his left ankle that required surgery. Williams’ pre-operative cardiac exam was normal, and he underwent outpatient surgery in October 2019 without complications.
