WCRI Finds Biggest Drop in Drug Spend in California, While Louisiana's Costs Increase

Twenty-six of 27 states in a new report saw their workers’ comp prescription drug costs per claim drop from January 2015 to March 2018, with California posting the biggest decrease, 77%. But drug spending in Louisiana went the opposite direction, increasing 13% during the same period, according to the report from the Workers Compensation Research Institute.
