The City of Trenton, New Jersey, will consider hiring a risk manager to manage workers’ compensation claims against the city.
The Times of Trenton reported that city officials, concerned that Trenton is losing “upwards of $4 million each year due to the mismanagement of workers’ compensation claims,” have requested that the city council create the position of risk manager. The city currently has no one on staff to oversee workers’ compensation claims.
