The California Division of Workers’ Compensation announced that the minimum and maximum temporary total disability rates are increasing Jan. 1.
The minimum TTD rate will increase to $252.03 per week from $242.86. The maximum TTD rate will increase to $1,680.29 from $1,619.15.
Benefits are increasing by 3.776% to match the increase in the state's average weekly wage. The average wage in California for the 12 months ending March 31 was $1,704, compared to $1,642 for the 12-month period ending March 31, 2023.
