Insurance Fraud Bureau Welcomes new Investigator

The Iowa Insurance Division swore in Ed Hamilton, a new special investigator, in its Insurance Fraud Bureau, during a ceremony on Thursday. Iowa Insurance Commissioner Nick Gerhart administered the oath of office. Hamilton retired from his position as a lieutenant with the Ankeny Police Department in February, according to a press release by the division. He is a graduate of Upper Iowa University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration.
