Jury Convicts Imaging Company CEO Solakyan on All Counts in Kickback Case

A federal grand jury on Friday afternoon convicted the president and chief executive officer of Vital Imaging Inc. on all 12 counts of a 2018 indictment alleging a scheme to submit more than $250 million in fraudulent medical bills for services procured through bribes and kickbacks. Sam S. Solakyan, 40, was found guilty of one count of conspiracy to commit honest services mail fraud and health care fraud, and 11 counts of honest services mail fraud.
