Bill Would Preserve Firefighters' Cancer Presumption

Idaho lawmakers this year could debate whether to make permanent the presumption that cancer arises out of employment for firefighters, thanks to a bill that was introduced Wednesday. Senate Bill 1263, by the Senate Commerce and Human Resources Committee, would repeal the sunset statute that would render the presumption inoperative on July 1, 2021.
